I'm a Redskins fan. So during this time of year when my team is not in the playoffs and the players are at home golfing or partying it up, I'm just watching football for the heck of it. I don't have a favorite team for this Sunday's Super Bowl but I would like to see the Saints somehow pull off the upset. I look at the heartache the State of Louisiana has been through with Katrina and the sports teams: Hornets and the Saints, has been the only positive entity to keep the people going. I hope that its a high scoring game and Drew Brees and Reggie Bush do well.
Here in Maryland were expecting this big snow storm. We never get snow. If it snows an inch the entire state shuts down. Even if it threatens to snow schools are closed and sometimes it doesn't even snow. So this Friday February 5th its suppose to start snowing at 10am and end at 10pm. We are expecting between 10-24inches of snow. We just had snow on Tuesday. I can truly say I'm "tired of snow". Luckily for us, there are some great sporting events that showing on Tv. We have the Super Bowl and UFC 109. I'm definitely watching the Super Bowl but not sure if I'll be spending money on this UFC fight-card. I will be following on Twitter as I would if I was at work. But it should be a fun filled weekend with the Snow, UFC, and the Super Bowl.
What can be better than Snow, Fighting and Football.....
